Hi , my name is Col Miller
I have been playing music most of my life, started as a teenager…… I am now in my 70’s
Played drums all those years and went to Hawaii about 15 years ago and came back playing a Ukulele
There are 4 different Ukuleles,
Tenor, Concert, Saprano and a Baritone all of which have 4 strings but the Baritone is strung the same as a guitar
I do play guitar, that’s why I love my Baritone Ukulele
I also play a Bass Ukulele
Here in Hervey Bay I play with a Hawaiian Ukulele group
I also play with a group called Cool Country, they play country music
Iam heavily involved with a group called Humps which stands for Hervey Bay Ukulele Music Pickers and Strummers.
We get together once a week in a hall, anything between 40 to 80 people come and have a great time . As you can see I go up on stage and help lead with playing and singing.
I am looking forward to presenting the Ukulele workshop POSTPONED and playing at the Open Mic afterwards at the River Heads Hall – STAY TUNED
